In light of the concerns and uncertainties presented by the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been confirmed that WCPOS V, scheduled to take place in Amsterdam, will instead be presented in virtual format. Specific details on programme and sponsorship options will be announced through the website over the coming weeks.
The current pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus has created upheaval in all aspects of our personal and professional lives.
It is with great regret that the leadership of WSPOS, in agreement with our colleagues in ESCRS, EuCornea and Euretina have decided that for the safety of our delegates, industry partners, staff and all our stakeholders, it will be impossible for us to hold the WCPOS V as a live, in person meeting in Amsterdam this October.
We at WSPOS believe that with every challenge comes opportunity and this challenge now presents us the opportunity to deliver all the conference sessions to a global audience via a virtual platform.
We are thus excited that colleagues around the world will get an opportunity to join us in a truly new and worldwide learning experience and enhance their knowledge and skills via the sharing ethos of WSPOS.
WSPOS World Wide Connect 2020, will be launched in the next few weeks.
Watch our website for updates and information on obtaining a FULL and COMPLETE refund of any WCPOS V registration fees already submitted and details on how you can participate in the virtual WSPOS World Wide Connect 2020 Meeting (WWW Connect).
In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail” Please join us in the coming weeks and together we will create a trail seldom seen.
Our best wishes and highest hopes for you and yours at this time
Your sincerely

As we all try and adapt to the current situation, we hope you find these face shields useful. As we are in such close contact with patients in our daily practices, the need for a durable design is paramount. All shields are designed on a 3D programme and can be printed easily on the correct software. A transparent slide is required to complete, the more transparent the better view it creates.
